About Villa
Beautiful Rovanjska is situated in the bay at the very end of Velebit sub-mountains channel,
near the town of Zadar. Vicinity of Velebit enriches this area with its parks, caves,
walking trails and bicycle paths. Modrič cave is a speleological treasure at the foot of Velebit
mountain and the church of St. George in the centre of Rovanjska is the pearl of old Croatian sacral architecture.
Here you will experience one of the most beautiful sunsets ever. At the end, only as a curiosity, it
should be mentioned that Rovanjska, according to the old written sources was called Ravanjska. Most probably
because this little place, which is a kind of hamlet of the Jasenice, was formally named and written as “in Rawna”.
